[f. 215d] Thomas Randes of Radwell in the parish of Felmersham, gentleman, "hole of mynde and of perfyt memory thankes be geven to God and sumwat sicke in body" made 27 Jan. 1546, pr. 8 Jan. 1547.

He bequeaths to his son John and his heirs male his manor of Radwell and all lands, tenements, meadows, pastures, commons, rents and services belong to the manor, he paying each year to testator's wife Elen for the term of her life 40s. sterling at the feasts of the Annunciation and Michaelmas by even portions in satisfaction of her claim to dowry in the same manor, and in all the other properties testator has purchased in his lifetime.
To wife also 4 pairs of sheets, a diaper tablecloth, a plain table cloth, a diaper towel, another plain towel, a diaper napkin, 3 coffers standing in the Great Chamber, 2 coffers being in the Lytell Chamber and a little coffer in one of them, a basin and an ewer of pewter, a basin of latten, 4 chairs, a buffet stool, the red silk hanging in the Newe Parlure, the hangings in the Nether Parlure, 3 bedsteads, 2 featherbeds, 2 bolsters, 2 pillows, 2 testers with the hangings, 5 brass pots, 2 kettles, 6 brass pans and 2 old pans, a chafer with two handles, 2 skillets, 2 pair of cobirons, 3 spits and a trivet, 10 platters, 7 dishes, 5 porringers, 8 saucers, 3 old platters, a basin, a ladle, 6 cushions, 2 bankers, 7 silver spoons, a mazer, an aumbry, 5 candlesticks, a peacock and 2 peahens. All these to his wife on condition that she gives testator's son John testator's bond to ensure that he would provide wife with a [?]terrier of testator's lands, and on condition also that she gives to son John a bond to ensure that she will take no legal action against him or his heirs.

To Thomas Frelove an acre of wheat and 3 roods of rye of this year's growing, and a quarter of barley.
