    [f. 211d] Jane Purser of Willishamsted, made 17 Jan. pr. 10 Dec. 1546. Burial in church or churchyard of Willyshamsted. For her mortuary what is due. To the high altar for tithes forgotten 20d.; to the Sepulchre light 3s. 4d.; to the bells 20d.; to the highways 20d.; to Flytton church 3s. 4d.. Her son John Purser is to have the house next to the church yard, according to the use stated when it was given to testator in marriage, and according also to the covenant between her husband George Purser and William Bowden that the house was to go to John Purser and Agnes Bowden, and to the heirs of their bodies. To Richard Purser, the eldest son of John Purser, is to have in the said house a folding table, 2 or 3 bedsteads with a settle, forms, and shelves "with suche other implementes as I leyfte to the said John". Testator's son Phillippe to have the lands and pasture which testator has in Flytton. To Richard Purser the son of John Purser a laver and a basin of latten that his father had. To Lawrence a great pan that his father had. To Jone the black gown and a pan that her father has, and to Elzabeth 2 platters that her father has and to Jelyan 12d.. To George Purser the son of Phillippe Purser a great pot. To Margery Purser the bed in which testator lies and a pot that her father has. To Agnes a coffer, to Alys a cow, to Jelyan 2 platters that her father has. Residue to son Phillippe Purser and to Richard Purser son of John Purser, who are to be her executors.
