    [f. 200d] Lawrens Stallworth of Luton made 13 July pr. 15 Nov. 1546. Burial in the parish church yard of Luton. To the mother church of Lincoln 4d..To the high altar of Luton parish church for tithes forgotten 12d.. To wife Jone all remaining household stuff and as much wood as she will use as long as the wood lasts which is now prepared "and upon my grownd". To her also all her apparel and half a quarter of wheat, half a quarter of barley, and his little house for her lifetime and for her "maryparte" out of testator's other house. To son William Stallworth the bigger house and 6 acres of land, reserving his wife's "maryparte" and paying to Lawrence Stallworth William's son £3 6s. 8d. when he is 22 years of age. If Lawrence should die before then, then 20s. of the money should be used for the souls of testator, his friends and all Christians. After death of wife son William to have both houses and the 6 acres of land. William to have also the biggest brass pot, testator's looms and all that pertains to his occupation. To [?]John Stallworth testator's "marbell" coat and a coffer which stands in the loft. To old Hawtrell the russet jacket. Residue to son William, sole executor, with John Tymmes the elder to be supervisor, the latter to have 3s. 4d.. Witnesses John Jonson priest, William Stallworth, John Rambruge.
