    [f. 192d] Thomas Walley of Pavenham made 19 Nov. pr. Nov. 1546 "Furst I commend my soull to Allmeghtie God my maker and Redemer" and burial in the church of Pavenham. To the same church 12d. and to the building of an arch of Stafford Brege13s. 4d.. To brother Mylys his best coat doublet and shirt, and his gelding with saddle and bridle. To brother Roger Whalley the rest of his apparel or wearing gear and 2 yearling colts now in Depedene, a steer and a cow with 10 sheep of the best he can choose. To his sister Jenet 40s.. To William and John Walley the sons of Roger Walley a yearling bullock each. To Richard Whalley and Walter 12 strike of barley. To Robert Whalley the son of testator's brother 20s.. To testator's daughter Betris all that is comprised in his lease of his house in Pavenham which he holds from Master Regenold Bray, and half of all his goods, plate and jewels. The other half is to go to his wife Alys. His brothers Roger and Myles are to be his executors, and they are to have oversight and custody of his daughter and her goods until she come to the age of 20, if she remain so long unmarried. Master Reginald Bray esquire is to be supervisor. Witnesses sir Thomas Ponde curate of Wemengton, Thomas Osberston gentleman, John Flawne and Hugh Gray husbandmen, Thomas Richardson tailor.
