    Folio 119 - Richard Malcot vicar of Henllow made 20 May 1545, pr. 10 July 1544 [sic] Burial in the church of Henlow. To mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to Sepulchre light 3s. 4d.; to a priest five years service to pray for his soul and "for the Universall Congregation of Cristen people both quycke and dede" having yearly 8 marks. To the church of Bedenham 2 antiphoners of paper, if it may be performed. To Master John Stookes a bedstead, a featherbed, a mattress, a blanket, a pair of sheets, a coverlet, a bolster, a pillow with the tester and the hangings about the bed, a coffer with two locks, a press, a folding table, a little table, two chairs, a settle, testator's best pot and best pan, 2 bell candlesticks and another candlestick, a chafer to heat water, a chafer with a handle, a shaving bason of latten, his best gown and all testator's books which he wishes to have. To William Geding and his wife the copyhold that John Crowley lives in for the term of their lives, and after their death it is to go to their son John Gedyng, if this is lawful. To William Geding and his wife also a featherbed with all the residue of testator's household stuff. To the wife of William Geding a gown. To Godeth Hedland a gown. To John Geding a coffer, a brass pot, 2 pewter dishes and a candlestick. To the remaining children of William Goding, that is William, Jone and Elzabeth 2 pewter dishes and a candlestick each. To every godchild in the town 4d.. Residue to Master George Fige parson of Cleyfton and sir William Gardner to bestow as they think best, and they to be executors.
