Folio 106 - Henry Hebbes of Tebbeworth in parish of Chalgrave made 3 Aug. pr. 14 Oct. 1545. Burial in church yard of Allhallowes in Chalgrave. To high altar of parish church of Chalgrave for tithes forgotten 12d.; to mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the Rood light of Chalgrave 4d.; to the bells there 8d.; to the torches 4d.. To testator's mother 5s.. To his eldest son 2 steers and his best shod cart. To his eldest daughter one cow. To his second daughter a young heifer. To his third daughter one red heifer. To his youngest son a steer and 5s. of money. Should any child die then their bequest to be divided between the survivors, and should they all die the bequests to be disposed of in charitable deeds for souls of them and of all Christians. Remainder of goods to wife Jone Hebbes, executrix with Richard Stocke of Wynfild executor, the latter to have 3s. 4d.. Witnesses John Osburnebe vicar of Chalgrave, William Boneyan, Richard Stouell/Stonell.
