Folio 95 - Thomas Odill senior of Marston made 16 Aug. pr. 14 Oct. 1545. Burial in church yard of Marston. To the high altar there for tithes forgotten 20d.; to the upkeep of the bells 20d.; To son Thomas an acre of arable as it lies by diverse parcels in the field of Marston on condition that he prepares two loads of stones for the repair of the "strete" of Pyllinge for 21 years next after date of will, and then he and his heirs can keep the acre for ever. To son John all the goods he owes testator. To son in law Thomas Bramson 10s.. To daughter Jane 2 pair of sheets. To John Michell 2d.. To John Studd 4d.. to Henry Clarke 4d.. To George Shelley 4d.. Residue of goods to son Thomas, sole executor. Witnesses Robert Odill, William Hale.
