    Folio 85d - Katering Sparke of Pulloxhill, made 1 July pr. 14 Sept. 1545. Burial in the church yard of Pulloxhill; to church of Lincoln 2d.; to the high altar of Pulloxhill for oblations negligently forgotten 40d.. To the high way from [?]Catus Corner and so upward where most need is 6s. 8d.. To every poor body that is a householder half a bushel of malt, and if there is only one in a house, then a peck of malt. Master the vicar to have 10s. to say a trental for souls of testator and her friends. To William Arnall 6 quarters of malt, a great brass pot, 2 posnets, a candlestick, a bason, 4 platters, a coverlet, a chest, 2 pair of sheets, a diaper tablecloth, and a bolster, and "yff he cum not agayne I will that my dowghter Alys Goodwyn shuld have all the forsaid stuffe". To her son Thomas her great pan, a mazer, her best featherbed. To Alys her daughter a quarter of malt, her best kirtle and best gown, a kerchief, an apron, her silver hooks and a ring. To Alys' daughters, (testator's godchildren), a quarter of malt each. To Elzabeth Sparke a kerchief, her best beads, a girdle and a ring. To William Goodwyn junior and to Robert the son of Thomas Sparke a quarter of malt between them. To sons Thomas and John all her crop which is to be divided between them. To her son Thomas and to William Goodwyn all her title and interest in West Worthing, they to divide the profit between them.To William Alnold and John Arnold a bushel of malt each, and to each of their sisters 4d. To Robert Goodwyne and to Jone and Margret 4d. a piece. To the high way in Grenefild Strete 40d..To servant Jone a kirchief and an apron. To Agnes Glover a petticoat, an apron and a kerchief. Residue of all her goods to son John, the malt only excepted, which she wishes to be sold and the money used for the wellbeing of the souls of herself and of all Christians at discretion of her son Thomas and of William Goodwyn, who are her executors, with son John overseer.
