    Folio 79 - John Atkynson of Ampthill made 16 May 1545 pr. 6 June 1545. Burial in church yard of Ampthill; to the high altar for tithes forgotten 4d.. To William Sqyer of Lecyter a red cow and a featherbed. To testator's brother who is in Barkeshire a featherbed and a heifer, the black cow and a great brass pan, and a featherbed [sic]. These things [not specified] to be sold and money given to needy people. To the mending of the Haysell Wood Layne 6s. 8d.. To each of his 2 sisters a mattrass and 2 pair of sheets, 4 pewter platters. To Margery Samson the second kirtle. To every godchild 4d.. All the rest of his household stuff to be sold and given to poor people where there is most need. Executors James Whyte of Flytton and Thomas Medeltun of Ampthill, overseer Thomas Blackeborne. To Thomas Sparkeleyn of Aspley a pair of the best sheets in the house. Witnesses Roger Hall, Henry Sterke, Thomas Franckelyn, Edmund Bastiam.
