    Folio 65d - Henry Clerke of Studham made 29 May pr. 4 June 1545 "I bequeth my soull unto Almeghtie God". Burial in the church yard of Studham; to the high altar there 12d.; to the mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to his children William, Thomas, John, Agnes and Jone £6 13s. 4d. each. To his eldest son Roger £10. Eldest son Roger to enjoy the lease of testator's farm, and to occupy it jointly with his mother. To servant Besse Atkynges 6s. 8d.; to Elzabeth Yvery 6s. 8d.; to testator's sister at Luton 6s. 8d.. To the making of the bellframe at Studham 5s. to be paid when the work is finished. To every godchild 4d.. Residue to wife Agnes who is to be sole executrix, she to bestow for his soul as she thinks best. Overseers sir Roger Clarke vicar of Studham (to whom 10s.) and to brother in law William Newell (to whom 6s. 8d.) both to pray for him and to be good to his children. Should wife Agnes remarry then she is to have 40 marks for her portion. Residue of goods to be divided between the children. Witnesses sir Roger Clarke, John Robertes and Roger Bocher.
