Folio 37d - John Curteman of Eton [[?Socon] made 1544 pr. 30 June 1544. Burial in churchyard of Eton. To the high altar for tithes forgotten 4d.. To wife Elzabeth the house sometime called Gilbert Brownes and Pelles Howse sometime called Stokers with all lands, meadows and pastures. To his son sir Gilbert 40s. to be paid when convenient. Each of his children to have 20s. if his wife is able to find the money. Residue to wife Elzabeth, executrix with son sir Gilbert executor. Witnesses sir Thomas Alcocke, sir John Barker, Thomas Scott.
