    Folio 33 - John Bonber/ Bouber of Steventon made 28 May pr. 12 July 1544. Burial in the churchyard of Steventon, To son Richard his house and 2 acres of land and pasture , his best brass pan, his best ark and best coffer. If Richard should die under age of 21, then property to be sold and the money divided between testator's three daughters Elzabeth, Margery and Cesely, and part to be used for the souls of testator, his good friends and all Christians. Half an acre of Mydsummer Mede is to be sold to pay debts and funeral expenses. To daughter Elzabeth a gallon pan and a frying pan. To daughters Margery and Cecyly a pewter dish and a hempen sheet. Residue to wife Jone. George Whyte to be sole executor, and he is to let testator's house and land until son comes to full age. Witnesses George Butman vicar, Richard Purser clerk, Oswolde Barbor, George Whyt.
