    Folio 15 - Agnes Howse of Kinges Howghton, "in my pure wedowhed" made 1 July 1540, pr. 16 June 1544. Burial in the churchyard of All Hallowes in Howghton; to the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the high altar a bushel of malt; to the Rood light a bushel of malt; to the torches a bushel of malt; to the bells a bushel of malt. Two trentals are to be done for the souls of her father and her mother and herself, one to be done shortly after her burial and the other immediately after her year tide. To her son John a pair of sheets and a quarter of barley, and to his 2 children half a quarter of barley each, and should one die, then the other to have the whole quarter. To William Brugges a bushel of malt. To Cristian Webe a bushel of malt. To William Howe the son of Robert How 4d.. To John Croker the son of John Croker 4d.. To Thomas Ordway a coffer that stands at testator's "beddessettes" and a brass pot of a gallon. To Agnes Turner a posnet and a pewter platter. To be used for the high way at the Este Ende of Howghton 6s. 8d.. To be spent at her burial "to breng me onestely in erth" 13s. 4d.. Residue to executors, Robert Margery and Richard Bregges, the latter to have 2s. Witnesses sir John Cowper curate, sir Thomas Cowper.
