Thanks for your letter and for the photos which I will return when I have shown them to Cooper. You can certainly take any of the rooms when you next come. I could see you on Saturday Oct 22nd, but on the 8th my daughter-in-law and granddaughter come to me for the weekend. I have booked the 22nd for you. I am far from well just now - a sharp attack of neuritis - which makes life hardly bearable, particularly at night. I used to stay at Burghley - a most interesting house. I used to stay with the grandparents of the present owner. The drought keeps on here & water is scarce.
