Thanks for your letter. I am sure you will kindly sympathise with me when I tell you that my elder son has been taken seriously ill & is not likely to live many days. Of course I am very unhappy. He lives about 7 miles off. Excuse more now. I should like to see some of your collection but under present circumstances not just now. I hope you will get what you want as to housing. I see Sir Ed Packe is dead at Prestwold. I knew him as a boy.
