    Folio 77 - see also ABP/11 Folio 78a - Thomas Page of Sutton made 3 June pr. 22 Aug. 1545. Burial in the churchyard of All Hallows in Sutton. To the high altar for tithes forgotten half a quarter of barley; to the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to every house in Sutton rich and poor 4d.. To be distributed on his month day to poor people (besides the choir) 6s. 8d.. To poor people in Sutton every year for the space of 8 years 20s. every Lent "in whyte hereing and Rede hereing" (red and white herrings) making £8 to be bestowed. To the poor folks in Eyworth every Lent 6s. 8d. for 6 years until 40s. has been expended. For the font to be made "aftur an honeste Fassion" 26s. 8d. in the church of Sutton. To Christopher Page £4 10s. now in the hands of Richard Holyday and due to be paid at Michaelmas next. To Thomas Norles children 3 quarters of barley in the hands of Richard Burges of Cockeing Hatley due to be paid at feast of All Saints next. To Thomas Page and Agnes his sister 22s. in the hands of Thomas Toppeshaw dwelling in the parish of Sowthvevell and due to be paid at Michaelmas next. To Edward Harding 10s., also in the hands of Toppeshaw and due at the same time. To Thomas Moore and his wife a quarter of barley to be delivered at Michaelmas next. To every godchild a bushel of barley. To the highway between Sernan bridge and Water bridge where most need is £6 13s. 4d.. Testator's executors are to make a causeway from the "Bregend" to the church "so that every man may passe whan the Flood is hight to be mayd with gret stones of 3 or 4 a carte lode at the most". To the high way at Weveley /Weneley Wood "to be mayd for man horse and carte to pas well" 10s.. After death of testator's wife Elzabeth 3 kine are to be let for 2s. a year each, the rent to go to the churchwardens of Sutton to keep an annual obit for souls of testator and his wife and for all Christian souls, the priest to have 8d. for dirige and bederoll, the residue to the choir and the poor people. To sir John Lambert parish priest of Sutton 12d.. Residue to wife Elzabeth, executrix, with Richard Manley of Potton and Thomas Marshall of Holwell to be overseers,each to have 6s. 8d.. To wife Elzabeth the copyhold which testator bought of Thomas Assheby. Witnesses Thomas Terre, John Plummer, John Bayes, Robert Curtes and John Browneinge. Also
