- TitleFolio 74 - see also ABP/R11 Folio 75 - Henry Smyth of Wilden, husbandman, made 28 June pr. 10 Dec. 1545. His body to be huried in the church yard of Wilden. To the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the high altar for tithes forgotten 12d.; to the bells 12d.. To the church and town of Wilden a cow, and whoever leases the cow shall pay each Palm Sunday 20d. to maintain the torches. Two trentals to be said in the church of Wilden for souls of testator and all Christian souls. His son Richard and heirs are to keep a yearly obit for souls of testator and all Christians on the Wednesday before mid-Lent Sunday, especially for souls of his wives, of Thomas Smyth and Alys, Richard Smyth and Elzabeth, Henry Smyth and Anne,and Thomas Rogers and Cristian. To every son a silver spoon. To sons William and Robert a featherbed each (after the death of testator's wife Cristian), William having the first choice. To wife Cristian the "haye laft and hir going in and owt in my howse terme of hir lyff wthowt any Charges of Reparations making at any tyme dureing her said lyff". Residue to wife Cristian who is executrix with son Richard executor, with William Smyth "steward of Bedford" to be Supervisor, he to have 3s. 4d.. Witnesses Master William Fethught [?Fitzhugh] the elder, sir Robert Toold curate, William Byr' and John Crowe.
