    Folio 66 - see also ABP/R11 Folio 60 - John Barcocke the elder of Okeley made 30 Jan. pr. 3 Mar. 1544/5. His soul to God and body to be buried in the church yard of Okeley. To the high altar there for tithes and oblations forgotten 20d.; to the upkeep of the ornaments in the church 20d.; to the upkeep of the bells 3s. 4d.. To sir Robert Powr 40s. to sing and pray in Okely church for half a year for the souls of testator, Elenor Bercocke, John G[r]ay and Alys Gray, and for all Christian souls. To the mending of the highways between testator's house and Bedford 40s., and in order to implement Elenor Bercoke's will another 40s.. To Jasper Bercocke a violet gown, a worsted doublet and 6s. 8d.. To James Bercocke 6s. 8d.. To Robert Hill a violet coat and 6s. 8d.. To Edward Gray a russet coat. To Thomas Ferr a doublet of buckskin and a sleeveless russet coat. To John Harryson a pair of hose and a pair of shoes. To William Scott a violet coat. To the child which testator's wife Margret now goes with, if it lives to the age of 6, goods and chattles to the value of £6 13s. 4d., and if the child does not live until 12 years of age, then the money is to go to his wife. At Easter next half a quarter of malt and half a quarter of barley to be given to the poor people of Okeley. To each godchild 4d..
