To wife Kateringe all her own goods that she brought with her, and all testator's first wife's wearing gear; three pair of sheets; 2 of the best beasts; 5 marks in money or goods; 8 yards of woollen cloth; the best brass pot; the best table cloth; a load of hard wood. To son William the elder a cow, testator's violet sleeveless coat. To son Henry a black two-year-old heifer. To son John the younger the best shod cart. To son Thomas the next shod cart. To son William the younger the "bayre" cart and two of the best horses. He leaves 6s. 8d. to mend the "slaykes" of Crossend Grene. Residue to be divided between his three sons John the younger, Thomas and William the younger. Executors wife Katering and son John the younger, with supervisor Thomas Slayde the elder Witnesses John Sperre the elder, John Rawlinges, Thomas Slayd the younger and William Parker the younger.
