Soul to Almighty God and burial in church of Our Lady in Luton next to his wife. To the high altar for dues negligently forgotten 20d., to mother church of Lincoln 2d.. To wife Elzabeth £13 6s. 8d. in money. His wife and his daughter Jone to have half of his household stuff which is to be divided equally between them. To sons John Crawley the younger and William and to daughter Elzabeth the other half of his household goods to be divided between them. To daughter Elzabeth in money £6 13s. 4d.; to son William in money £10; to dau. Jone in money £5,. If any of these three children (Elzabeth, Jone and William) die under the age of 20 while still unmarried, then their portions be divided between the survivors. At his burial and at his month's mind a dirige and 3 masses after the custom of Luton church. He wishes also a yearly obit for 8 years at 4s. a year which is to be paid by his executors. To dau. Elzabeth Spane 40s..To every godchild 4d.. To son Umfray Crawley a ewe. A ewe to every one of testator's children. Residue to go to son John Crawley the younger. Executors son John Crawley the elder and son Edward Crawley, each to have 6s. 8d.. Witnesses Umfray Crowley, Robert Crowley, John Reyner, Elzabeth Spayne.
