    Folio 59d - see also ABP/R11 Folio 52d - Richard Hill of Luton made 27 Apr. pr. 20 May 1545. Soul to Almighty God and burial in church yard of Our Lady in Luton. To the high altar 4d.. Testator's house to be charged with a 3s. obit in Luton church. To Jone Hill his wife his house for her lifetime, and on her death house to go to testator's godson Richard Hill, son of testator's brother Thomas Hill, and to Richard Hill's heirs. Should Richard Hill the godson die without heirs, then house and appurtenances to be at the will and discretion of testator's brother Thomas Hill. To his brother Robert Hill the copyhold property lying in the parish of Pyrton, "to the intent that he shall kepe my mother onestely". To sister Katering Wystoo a sheet. To Thomas Hill the clerk 3s. 4d.. Residue to wife Jone Hill, who with brother Thomas Hill (to whom 20d) are to be executors.. Witnesses Robert Bishoppe priest, Richard Hatterell, Thomas Hill clerk.
