Bletnessho Wardens and the major part of the honest men of the vill of Bletnessho accused Robert Maxse, Robert Parcar and Robert Hull who had defamed their sons and daughters in these words "They said openly in the alehowse that they saw ij persons a yonge man and a yonge woman a mannys sonne and a mannys dawghter of Bletnessho ly together and ther to committe fornication in a close". Public penance.
