  • Title
Two letters to Andrew Underwood from James Brown, a direct descendent of Sir Nicholas Harvey via his daughter Ann, wife of George Carew with: - a discussion of the date of the "Feast of St.Oswald", the day of Sir Nicholas' death, as being either 5 Aug (St.Oswald, King of Northumbria's feast day; 8 Oct, the day of translation of St.Oswald; or 28 Feb, feast day of St.Oswald, Archbishop of York) and a suggestion (later retracted) that he died on 28 Feb 1533; - speculation on the fate of his widow Bridget who may have remarried Sir Robert Tyrwhitt; - note that Sir Nicholas and Bridget's son Henry had a son, Sir William, created Baron Hervey of Ross in 1620 and Baron Hervey of Kidbrooke in 1628
