Court held in Ampthill parish church 12th November 1539. Woburn The churchwardens there presented William Baylyffe of the same place because he owed the church of Woburn 4s., and on the same day the said William appeared and agreed that he owed this sum which was a legacy from his father, and he would pay it before the feast of Easter next.
