Declaration of Martha Gresham of Hemel Hempstead (Herts.), as in BORDV13/17-19 That her son William Gresham (as in BORDV13/19), now of Castle St., Holborn, at the time of his execution of BORDV13/19 was, and for many years afterwards remained, a bachelor and unmarried; that she knew and was well acquainted with George Maddison of Dunstable, esq., (?testator as in BORDV13/10), commonly known as Colonel Maddison, former owner of the dwelling house and premises known as the Priory and who, at the time of his death, did not leave a widow him surviving. Subscribed and declared at No.3 Castle St., Holborn before Edward Mullins of Took's Court, Chancery Lane, Notary Public. 17 Aug 1839. Dorse: as BORDV13/20.
