Letter from John Latham at Congleton [Cheshire] to John Thomas Green: "Let me hear from you at once herein. Mr.Ed.Bygott is in a dreadful hurry about matters & seems determined to put me & the Estate to all the trouble & costs he can & I am waiting for your determination before the other purchases are taken in hand for completion if I can get some of them completed the mortgagee will not allow a third sale to take place which would be a waste of money &c. I must ask for your indulgence in this matter as I know it must be considerable annoyance to you the turn matters have (without any fault on my part) taken. P.S. If you cannot see your way to leaving out the Trustees as parties to the Conveyance by Mr.Percival as now drawn could not the purchase money be paid to the trustees and by them handed to the Mortgagee at the time of completion the Mortgagee confirming the sale not the cases of Cooke & Kemp"
