Letter from Charles Dymoke Green at Bloomsbury Vine Street, London to Jack [John Thomas Tanqueray]: "I didn't like giving you so much trouble particularly as you are bothered about other things. I thought that some day when you had been in Town half an hour would have settled the partnership deed but now time presses and I think if you can manage Sat[urda]y it would be more satisfactory I have letters. Of course I should like to have the power of nomination but I cannot claim it or suggest it at all events until I am asked to give up any share to Henry. If at the end of 5 years Henry proves himself useful I don't know but what I ought to give up some to him as well as his father. I do not know their feeling on that subject. If I did I think I might ask for a promise to take my Son in when old enough if good enough if I could not nominate him to a certain portion of my shares which I doubt. The only Heads I can send you are the same as I gave you before I enclose them you know all the old understanding W.H.T. tells me he has made his will same as mine. Since writing the side I have seen the Will and it contains the clauses. Let me know how you come on Sat[urda]y[?]"
