- I was talking to a chap over the works who is going with a girl in Woolworth's (High St.) and he was telling me what a b---- the manager at Bridgend was.
- I was thinking yesterday in work how lovely you looked on Sunday and the work was nothing. The 8 hrs passed away quite nice.
- I hope the manager at Woolworth's was alright when he came back.
- Did your old man have much to say when you got home Monday. If he dare touches you again don't forget to hit him with something and make sure it is something heavy.
- My mother and father are thinking of going to Coombe next Sunday. They will have about 4 hrs ashore.
