Letter from John Shewell Corder of 9 Thoroughfare, Ipswich [Suffolk], architect to Frederic Thomas Tanqueray: "Can nothing be done to hasten Miss Thorp's conveyance. 5 Weeks have elapsed since Willis assured me it should be done in a few days. Now you Know how much this worries Miss Thorp and I rely upon you as her legal representative to press matters to a conclusion. I was a party to the purchase and I have written a letter to Willis which if he has even the dregs of conscience left ought to Stir him up. I have told him that I won't be put off with promises much longer".
