Letter from John Shewell Corder at 9 Thoroughfare, Ipswich [Suffolk] to Frederic Thomas Tanqueray at Woburn: "Miss Thorp desires me to say that she has purchased the property at Aspley Known as Mt.Pleasant and she wishes you to undertake the Conveyance for her. Will you inspect the Tittle [sic] and see that it is perfectly clear. It belongs to W.Handscomb of Aspley and is mortgaged to Messrs Willis Solicitors Leighton Buzzard. I can furnish you with a plan of the Land which should be incorporated with the Conveyance"
