    Conveyance i) Susan Ann Gage Smeathman, Great Missenden, Bucks, widow ii) Lovell Smeathman, Hemel Hempstead, Herts, gentleman iii) Arthur Richard Bird, Luton, straw plait merchant reciting will of Lovell Smeathman, late of Great Missenden, Bucks, Esq., dated 22 August 1850, with 3 codicils dated 14 July 1854, 18 July 1856 and 15 November 1866. By codicil of 14 July 1854 he devised property in Luton to son, George Thomas Smeathman He died in December 1866. Will proved (PPR) on 12 June 1867 reciting will of G T Smeathman dated 7 May 1874 whereby he gave to his wife, i) all his house in Luton for her life, and then to son, ii) He died on 2 August 1874. Will proved (PPR) on 23 September 1874 Now in consideration of £1750 paid to i) and ii) by iii) i) and ii) convey to iii): - piece of ground in Peel Street (4p 14 yds) - house built on said land now in occupation of Albert Hedges - land in Wellington Street - 4 messuages built on said piece of land - land in Wellington Street - 3 houses erected on them ii) will pay all duties becoming payable on death of i) signatures of i) and ii) witnesses Gage Smeathman, Great Missenden, Bucks, spinster William Saunders, rate collector, Hemel Hempstead On Back: memorandum as to conveyance, on 25 October 1900, of 3 houses in Wellington Street to Edwin George Worsley and 4 to Walter James Primett
