    Agreement i) John Plummer, Peel Street, straw plait manufacturer ii) Joseph Linger, Luton, straw hat and bonnet manufacturer iii) John Coplestone, Luton, manufacturer reciting that iii) some time ago purchased of i) the small piece of ground hereinafter described for £8 and paid 10s as deposit Said piece of ground was later mortgaged to Kitt Tomson for £100 and is also now mortgaged to ii) to secure further £100 Now in consideration of 10s and also of £7 10s paid by iii) to ii) ii) agrees to release said piece of ground and i) agrees to join in such release as soon as Kitt Tomson's mortgage is discharged, it being the intention of ii) to pay it off as soon as convenient In meantime it shall be lawful for iii) to enjoy said piece of ground without denial from ii) or i) until same is conveyed to iii) 1/4th part of said 3 poles is now fenced in Said land is conveyed by following description: - piece of ground containing 3p purchased by i) of Amos Lawrence N E (partly) i) (partly) right of way from Dunstable Place S E yard and outbuildings of Bute Arms S W Amos Lawrence N W garden of Stephen Swain signatures of all receipt of ii) (over 1d stamp) witness Thomas Tomlinson, clerk to William Hunt, sol, Luton
