Letter from John Lenton at 68 St.John's Street, Bedford to Frederick John Coleman: "With reference to the house in Victoria Rd I shall be willing to let it you on a 3 years lease at £16 per annum and will have it put in good order on receipt of your reply saying you will accept. As regards the selling of it I should not mind doing I may say it is in one of the pleasantest and most healthest [sic] position in Bedford and the position is improving very much. I have refused £17 per year since it has been empty on account of to [sic] large a family. Should you feel disposed to purchase it as it is without me doing anything to it I will take £310 and shall be pleased to hear from you when convenient PS I may be at the Agricultural Show on Wednesday & if convenient I will give you a call"
