Letter to H Swaffield, from H P Saunderson, managing director of H P Saunderson & Co Ltd, Engineers and Ironfounders, explaining reason for the circular referred to in SFM3/110. Instead of calling meeting suggests 'any of the shareholders who choose shall by appointment but unofficially visit the works, & inspect everything & afterwards in the office the Directors will be pleased to give any information...our sore point is want of working capital. We have £2000 worth of orders on hand & are expecting another £1000 worth from Australia any moment, the key of success is already in our hands but we are unable to turn it...'
