  • Title
Letter from Caroline Cooper Cooper at Knoston House North Walsham [Norfolk] ("Lady Robinson's) to Frederic Tanqueray: "I enclose a paper [HN10/270/Cooper3] I have written out if you will kindly put it with my Will as I find I must alter several things, particularly all my furniture as Mr.Vernon has again sold all his & gone to live abroad. I do not care to face old family things sold off & fear Mr.Cooke is in great trouble for he put his money into a Fire Insurance Company & became a director & in consequence of so many very large fires they had to stop payment & the calls are most dreadfully heavy & not yet settled & they cannot get them wound up so I wish Mr.P.S. their son to be safe with what I leave them. I will call & see you when I return. I leave here in a few days so will not expect to hear from you"
