Note in handwriting of Elizabeth Seabrook: "I request of my Executors to see carried out my wishes concerning my funeral. I desire to be buried in my Wedding ring and Keeper but the mourning ring with words "In Memento" be taken off my finger as it is left to Sarah Harris. I desire that my shroud and coffin be exactly as good and in every particular made like my dear Sister's (Mrs.Gibbons). I have no objection to a small bunch or two of flowers being placed on my bosom according to the season but I do positively object to any Wreaths or Crosses placed on my Coffin or on the grave. I wish for no funeral Pall but I wish to have as near as possible a funeral car like my dear sister's also two Mourning Coaches or more if necessary - also I wish my two nephews Samuel and John Seabrook to be invited to my Funeral as well as any other friends who may wish to be present. Also I request that my Body be Conveyed by Road to Maulden Church Yard. If there should be any hymns sung in church I request the one "How sweet the name of Jesus sounds" & to the tune St.Peter's Oxford, also first of two verses of "Jesus Lover of My Soul" &c.
