    Large scrap of paper on which is written: 1 Sep 1882 "Cogitations on my bed when sleep forsook me on the night of September 1st 1882 which I wish carried out if practicable. I will and bequeath to my sisters Jemima Plant of Brooklyn and Ann Gibbons of Rose Cottage, Eversholt all my half share of the land at Pulloxhill for their life only and if my Sister Ann Gibbons be the survivor then I will that Edward Shouler Plant son of my said Sister Jemima Plant shall possess and enjoy her [sic] mother's share during the life time of my sister Ann Gibbons and after her decease I will and bequeath my half share of the said land at Pulloxhill to my nephew Edward Shouler Plant of Brooklyn and my nephews Edward King and Henry King Sons of my brother Edward Shouler King of Millbrook Bedfordshire and my nieces Sarah Ann King, Elizabeth King, Emma Charlotte King and Lydia King daughters of my said brother to be divided equally among and between them and if any one or more of my said nephews and nieces be not living at the time of my decease then I will that his or her or their share be equally divided among the survivors. If my Sister Jemima Plant should survive my Sister Ann Gibbons then I will that my half share of the land at Pulloxhill be shared alike between my Sister Jemima Plant and my nephew Edward Shouler Plant and at her decease to be divided equally or with my Nephew Edward Shouler Plant and all such of my other nephews and nieces as shall be living at the time of my decease. My house and garden and premises and furniture of house and all other things at Aspley Guise called Grove House I bequeath to my six nephews and nieces to have and hold until the decease of the last subject to the following conditions. First I will that the sum of £240 be paid to my nephew E.S.Plant by all my brother's children living at the time of my decease, the first sum or instalment in 4 yearly Instalments as equivalent to his share of the £1400 [unreadable] on the house and premises"
