    Will of Joseph Gibbons of Tingrith, yeoman: - to wife Sarah his messuage divided into three tenements (in occupation of James Hudson, William Hudson and Richard Hudson) with adjoining close of pasture (in testator's own occupation) in Ram Alley, Tingrith; - to son Joseph his messuage in Middle Row, Dunstable in occupation of George Saunders; - to son Thomas his half share in a messuage divided into two tenements in Welton [Northamptonshire] in occupation of John Hill and another; also a messuage in Welton in occupation of John Brundell; also closes of sward and arable in Welton in occupation of Gilbert; - to son Joseph and friend John Daniel of Eversholt, yeoman upon trusts - farm in Pulloxhill in occupation of Thomas Squires; also close of arable in Pulloxhill lately purchased from devisees in trust of Thomas Squires; also messuage divided into two tenements in Chalton, Toddington in occupation of George Henley and Gobby; also cottage in Chalton in occupation of Keen; also messuage divided into three tenements in Finns Lane, Toddington in occupation of Edward King, George Fensham and William Valentine; all other real estate; - trustees to sell all trust real estate except that in Pulloxhill, to raise £350; the Pulloxhill real estate to be mortgaged, or, in the last resort, sold to make up the sum of £350; - Trustees to stand possessed of £300 of the £350 in trust for testator's sons Thomas, Edward and Joseph and daughters Mary Lancaster, widow, Amelia and Elizabeth equally; - Trustees to stand possessed of the money surplus to the £350 in trust for investment to keep all buildings in good repair and insured, residue paid to testator's wife with £50 (not part of the £350) being paid to son John after the decease of his mother; - Trustees to stand possessed of unsold Pulloxhill land in trust in seven equal parts, six to testator's children Edward, Joseph, Mary, Amelia, Elizabeth and Thomas; - to Trustees all household goods, furniture and money etc. with residue of personal estate for conversion to money to settle debts; - testator wished his business as farmer and dairyman to be continue to the benefit of his wife and son Joseph; thus Trustees to commission a valuation of all personal estate not converted into money and to allow his wife and son John to continue to live at the farm and carry on the business but with the Trustees managing the business, buying and selling stock etc.; - profits of farm to be paid to testator's wife; - Trustees to stand possessed of seven eighths of surplus money in trust for testator's children John, Joseph, Edward, Mary, Amelia, Elizabeth and Thomas ; - Trustees to stand possessed of testator's personal estate in trust to convert it into money after the death of his wife to raise £120 for Joseph Gibbons in trust of which £100 was to be in trust for testator's children Edward, Mary, Amelia, Elizabeth and Thomas; - Trustees to stand possessed of sums of £50 (part of the £350), remaining seventh and eighth parts and £20 (part of the £120) in trust: to pay profits etc. from it to testator's daughter Ann, wife of Arthur Sparrey, for her sole use; remainder to Ann Sparrey's children equally when they became 21 (if boys or girls) or married (if girls), with interest paid to them proportionately before then; - Pulloxhill real estate may be disposed of if testator's wife and Ann Sparrey agree, or surviving legatees when they are both dead; - to John Daniel £5; - Joseph Gibbons and John Daniel to be executors; - witnesses: J.Eagles of Ampthill, solicitor; W.Pulley and W.R.Robinson of Ampthill, his clerks
