Folio 178d Roger Huckell of Henlow made 14 Feb. 1542/3, proved 13 Nov. 1543. Burial in the church yard of Henlowe. To the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the high altar 4d.; to the bells 8d.; to the Rood light 8d.; to the Sepulchre light 8d.. To daughter Alys a cow and a little kettle. To daughter Margery 10s., and to her also £5 of lawful money and the residue of goods not otherwise bequeathed. The residue of the money left from the sale of his copyhold, after part had been used for his soul, is to be divided between his daughters Alys and Margery, at the discretion of his executor John Jacobb', who is to have 3s. 4d.. Witnesses sir William Gardner, William Hemynge, Thomas Wylkenson.
