"I hartely geve my soull to god Omnipotent and my body to be bured in the churche yerd of Sanct George aforsayd" To the Blessed Sacrament of the high altar for tithes forgotten 12d.; to the mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to the bells 8d.; to the torches 6d.; to every godchild 4d.. To her daughter Elzabeth her best gown with one petticoat. To testator's sister a red kirtle, a petticoat and all her linen, one posnet, her best brass pot, cloth to make a kirtle, an old mantle, 2 empty feather bed ticks, a down pillow, the second-best pair of sheets, a white covering, the second best pair of cobirons, a trivet, the pot handles, the broken coffer, a little brass pan, a 4 gallon brass pan, a 4 gallon tub, 4 old platters, an old salt, a candlestick, 4 painted cloths.
