Folio 129 William Bacheler of Tilbrocke/Tylbrock made 3 May 1542, pr. 10 Aug. 1542. Burial in the church yard of All Saints in Tilbrocke next to the porch there. To the upkeep of the mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to the high altar of Tilbrocke for tithes forgotten 8d. and to the church for whatever is needed 3s. 4d.. To a priest to say 30 of the "cheyffe" masses in the year 10s.. To son Henry Bacheler the remainder of the lease of the house where testator dwells, with all appurtenances in the towns and fields of Tylbrocke and Kynbolton. Also to son Henry half an acre of wheat, 2 acres of barley, 2 acres of pease, a brass pot, a kettle, and testator's shod cart. To his wife Margery his copyhold of a certain "muse" {pres. messuage] with three quarters of land in the town and fields of Tylbrocke for her lifetime. To servant William Sheperd a lamb and to servant Margery a lamb hog. To goddau. Jone Sheperd a lamb hog. To Margret Butler a mother sheep and a lamb. To testator's sister Jone Sawtrey a mother sheep and a lamb. To Thomas Sawtre a weaning calf. To Alys Sawtre a weaning calf. To wife Margery and to his dau. Agnes all moveable goods such as household stuff, grain and cattle to be divided beween them, on condition "they shall dele halpeny dole for my soull and all Cristen soulls and bryng me honestely to the grownd".
