    Folio 102d John Dyllingham of Overdeane, yeoman, made 19 Aug. 1540, pr. 10 July 1541. "I bequeth my Soull to Almeghtie god". Burial in the church of All Saints in Deane; to the mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to the high altar of the parish church 3s. 4d.; to be distributed at his burial £6; to the repairs of Deane church £4 sterling. To his wife Jone 4 marks a year out of testator's properties, as set out below, that is: 15s. a year charged on house where testator lives; 15s. out of the hoouse where John Bull lives; 5s. a year out of house occupied by Richard Curtes; 13s. a year from house at the Crosse that Mother Pecke lives in; 2s. 8d. a year out of the house and lands at Hargrave; 2s. 8d. a year out of the house where Stafford lives, all these monies to be paid at Michaelmas. Wife Jone to have and occupy half of the house where the testator lives, and all lands, meadows and pastures, and half the wood growing on the same, while she remains single. To son William and his heirs the house that John Bull lives in, with all lands and appurtenances, paying yearly to his brother John Delyngam 20s. p.a. during the life of the said John. To son Henry Dyllingham, his heirs and assigns, the house at Nether Deane where Richard Curtes lives, with all lands and appurtenances. To son Walter Dyllingham, his heirs and assigns, the house at the Crosse in Over Deane with the appurtenances, paying yearly to his brother Robert Dyllingham 13s. 4d. for the life of Robert. To son Richard Dillingham and his heirs and assigns all lands in Haregrave and the house in Overdeane where Mother Gurney lives, with the appurtenances. His wife Johan is to have the profits of the lands of the children to see them well ordered and brought up to the age of 21 years, or until the day of their marriage, except for the lands that his son Thomas is to have. £10 each to his sons William, Harry, John, Water, Robert, Richard, Umfray, to his daughter Alys, and to the child "tht my wyff ys gret withall". Should any child die under age, then their share to be divided among the rest. To every godchild a sheep. To Anne Burden a sheep. To Elzabeth Bywerth a sheep. Residue to wife Joan Dellyngam and son Thomas, his executors, reserving to his wife all the household stuff in his house. Supervisor William Harryat.
