    Burial in the church yard of All Hallowes in Chalgrave; to the mother church of Lincoln 4d.; "To the Sacrament of my parysshe churche" for tithes forgotten 12d.; to the upkeep of the parish church 12d.; to the bells and torches of the same church 12d.; to the Rood light 6d.. To each of his daughters Elzabeth and Margret Allen 5 quarters of barley of the crop that is to be gathered, 4 sheep, a heifer and a couple of 3 years old steers. To dau. Margret a brass pot and 2 pair of sheets. To dau. Elzabeth a brass pan and 2 pair of sheets. Should either die then the survivor is to have both legacies; and should both die then both legacies to be divided beween testator's son Henry Allen and testator's daughter Katering Mawer. To dau Katering Mawar a heifer, "v sheep aftur xx shepe be drawen" and 2 quarters of pease. To his son Henry Allen 2 of the greatest steers and a dung cart with the wheels, 5 sheep, a quarter of pease and a quarter of barley. To Katering the dau. of son Henry Allen a one year old bullock and a sheep. To John the son of Thomas Mawar of Luton "sowcon" 5s. to buy a bullock, and a sheep. 20d. is to be bestowed on the high way at Boneyans Howse Ende. To every godchild 4d.. To brother Thomas Allen a sheeved coat. To son Henry Allen a sleeved coat. To the children of brother Thomas Allen 3s. 4d. between them. Residue to his executrix his wife Jone Allen and to his executor his brother Thomas Allen, he to have 3s. 4d.. Supervisor sir John Osburbe vicar of Chalgrave.
