    Burial within the parish church of Tylbrocke "before the bell house"; to the high altar for tithes forgotten "yff any suche be" a mother sheep; to the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the bells of Tylbrocke church and their cords 6d.; to the church towards the purchase of a vestment or cope (whichever is most needed) and for his burial place in the church two "scheres hogges" and 4d. in money; 30 masses are to be said in the church for the souls of the testator and all Christians for which the priest is to have 10s.; a half penny dole is to be given at his burial day to parishioners and "to whosoever cumyth of the cuntre besyde". To his wife half his crop, 3 milch beasts, 6 sheep and all the household stuff she brought with her, and also the house where testator lives until next Michaelmas. To his son John his best russet coat and best hose. To his dau. Margery Chalbert his blue coat and russet coat and brass pan, and to her daughter a lamb hog. To John Day, testator's son's child, a bullock and a mother sheep, and after Michaelmas next he is to have the house where testator lives for the remainder of the years testator has taken it by indenture from the town. To wife Alys a bacon hog, 2 store [hogs], and testator's best beehive with the bees. To son John Day his horse.Residue to John Byworth and son John Day, they to give one part to the church, one part to poor folk in alms, the third part to mend the highways, the fourth part divided among his children.
