    Burial in the church yard of St. John the Baptist in Eversholde; for his mortuary according to the law; to the high altar in Eversholt 12d.; to the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the torches' light 12d.; to the upkeep of the bells 12d.. To his wife Zebell Draper 6 kine of the best she will choose and 2 two year old bullocks; all the household stuff that was hers at the time of her widowhood; 4 best hogs of her own choice; 3 pieces of woollen and linen cloth now at the weaver's. His wife is to remain in testator's house until Michaelmas next, and to have sufficient wood to burn, also grass, hay and straw for her beasts and other cattle, and she is to be able to maintain her household with all things necessary such as wheat, rye, malt and barley, and all other grains, reserving always the barley, beans and oats needed to sow the land. Wife is also to have a horse of the value of 5s.. To son Richard Draper testator's best coat and best doublet, a whole bed, a coverlet, blankets, a pair of sheets, a mattress and a bolster, a new share for a plough "and also a hayr for the kyll", but this not to be delivered before Michaelmas. Two great pans, a basin, a ewer, a cupboard, a chair and 2 bedsteads are to remain as standards in the house. To son Richard Draper 4 horses, 2 carts and cart gear, plough and plough gear, and he is to have hay, chaff and straw for the horses. Richard is to stir up "stereuppe" testator's land and sow it with barley, beans and oats, and at the time of harvest wife Zebell and son Richard are to prepare the harvest ready for the cart, and then his wife is to take half and Richard half "To be parted indeferently by the sheyffe and the cocke". Should Zebell move not more than 2 miles forth out of town, Richard is to carry her share for her. To Henry Plummer the great brass pot. To Edmund Tylcock testator's second doublet. To Richard Tilcocke his violet coat. To Margery Tylcocke a coffer. To Richard Plummer a coffer. To [?]Osseham Wadlow a weaned calf. To John Lowen a weaned calf. To dau. Avys Lowen his best gown. To every child's child 2d. "always Reserved" Henry Plummer and John Lowen. 10s. to be used for a trental sung in the church of Eversholde for the souls of testator and his friends. He wants 5 priests at his burial to sing 5 masses of Jesus, and also at his month's day, and each to have 6d.. If son Richard hinders wife Zebell from staying in testator's house until Michaelmas next with sufficient wood to burn and also hay, straw and grass, then Richard's bequests are cancelled, and are to go instead to wife Zebell.
