    Burial in the church yard of Eversholde; for his mortuary "in dyschargeing of my consyens" 3s. 4d.; to the high altar for tithes forgotten 12d.; to the church of Lincoln 2d.. He wishes a pyx to be bought to contain the Blessed Sacrament. To his goddaughter Ann Cowper testator's bed "hole, as I do ly in yt". To the upkeep of the highways in Eversholde 6s. 8d.; to the bells 16d.. An honest priest is to sing a quarter of a year in the church of Eversholde for the souls of the testator, his father and mother, and he to be paid 26s. 8d.. Residue to his son-law John Cowper, executor. Witnesses John Atslow testator's confessor and curate, Henry Pepper, William Byssett.
