Scope and Content
Burial in the church or churchyard of St. Peter's of Temmysford. He bequeaths an altar cloth for the front of the high altar there price 5s.; to the Sepulchre light 4d.; to the bells 4d.; to every priest saying mass and derige for his soul 4d.; to every clerk that reads or sings at his burial who dwells within the town 3d.; to every child that sings 1d.; and 6. 8d. is to be spent to buy bread to be given to the poor people in the town.
To "Mt." [?Master] Palmer his cousin his gown furred with "Feches", his tippet furred with cony and his best cap.
His cousin sir John Ussher is to have his tawny gown furred with black lamb, a cloth tippet, and a sarsenet tippet of "wenes".
To sir Robert Whyt his gown of London russett, and a cloth tippet.
To cousin Elzabeth Grene a black gown lined with summer lining.
Robert Marshton' is to have his old frieze gown, a leather doublet and a pair of hose.
To John Wenelock 2 short gowns and a pair of russet hose.
William Fegian and Elzabeth Fegian are both to have 20d., and Elzabeth is to have a diaper towel and 3 napkins.
Mawlen College of Oxford to have the timber lying in the yard to build the houses there.
Residue to cousin John Ussher of Hokyngton, sole executor.
Supervisor Master John Colbeke, and he to have 3s. 4d..
