Letter from Kate Finlay concerning bequests to be made in her last will and testament... 'I wish to leave to my eldest son David Finlay of the 7th Dragoon Guard everything I possess in the world horses, carriages, plate, linen, furniture, glass, a little house attached to Little Brickhill Estate called the Cottage with all it's furniture and my motor car. My valuable lace I leave to my daughter Kate Cynthia and my long ermine cloak and also picture painted by Mr. Hughes which cost £500. To my son Claude I leave my Arab mase and all my wardrobe excepting the things here named I leave to my daughter in law Vivian Finlay (wife of David).My jewellery I shall give away before I die in case of sudden death I wish it equally divided between David, Kate Cynthia and Claude Finlay my 3 dear children'.
