Photocopy of a copy of a conditional surrender, Manor of Biggleswade by the hands and acceptance of George Herbert and John Carrington two other customary tenants of the said manor. Parties: (i) William Roberts of Biggleswade, Beds, turner. (ii) Joseph Weston of Biggleswade, grocer. Reciting: - (i) borrows £200 from (ii) with interest at £5% per year. (i) out of court conditionally surrenders (a) to the lord of the Manor and to the use of (ii) as security for the repayment. - This surrender will be void if (i) repays the £200 with the said interest. Property: (a) Same as property at X758/14/2/1 Examined and stamped by George Herbert & John Carrington. Endorsed: (ii) pays £200 to (i) on the 31st Dec 1806. Witnessed by Edward Cooch.
