'As resolved at our last Directors meeting, we wrote to Mr. Frederick J. Smith of Lower Shelton, Marston Moretaine, wheelwright offering him a small piece of ground which he required for cottage gardens, at 10, he undertaking to fill in the pond and erect a fence from the existing garden fence up to the road. Also to pay all expenses in connection with the conveyance of the ground. He has written accepting our offer and agreeing to the terms and conditions named, and we shall be glad if you will now deal with the matter'.
